The World Day of Prayer Service for Amherst will be held at the First Baptist Church on Victoria Street on Friday March 1st, at 2. The focus country will be Slovenia and everyone is welcome to attend. Following the service there will be light refreshments and fellowship.

Christ Church Anglican will be holding a Pancake Supper, Friday March 1 from 4:30-6:30. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, and $25 for a family. Tickets will be available at the door or at the Church office, 902-667-2415.

As part of African Heritage Month, there will be a concert, Our History is Your History, Friday March 1 starting at 6:30 at the Dr Carson and Marion Murray Community Center. Tickets are $5 advance, $10 at the door, and available at the Community Center or CANSA.
